Shelly is a 1995 graduate of the University of Cincinnati with a degree in Economics and Spanish. Before graduating, she resided in Alcala de Henares, Spain to learn the language and complete her study abroad program. In 1996 she began her career as a financial advisor and later gained her Chartered Mutual Fund Counselor designation, CMFC. In 2009 she completed a program through the Institute for Divorce Financial Analysts for the CDFA designation. She feels her knowledge and focus in the divorce arena helps her when offering advice to recent divorcees.
Shelly stays very active in her community. When she is not working she volunteers with the Women Helping Women organization of Cincinnati, throws pottery at the Fitton Center. She enjoys traveling, going to concerts and spending time with her husband, Gregg and standard poodle, Luna.
